Sariska is India's great conservation comeback — the reserve that lost every tiger and won them back, one relocated cat at a time, until the Aravalli hills echoed with a growing wild population once more. The Sariska Special Tour by Indian Inspire Journey brings this remarkable Rajasthan wilderness to life across 3 nights and 4 days, with four jeep safaris through dhok forest, dramatic cliffs, and valleys scattered with medieval ruins.

Sariska's landscape is pure Rajputana wild — dry deciduous hills, palm-fringed waterholes, and the extraordinary sight of history inside the tiger habitat itself: the 17th-century Kankwari Fort rising from the reserve's heart, and the ancient Pandupol Hanuman temple drawing pilgrims along forest roads where tigers leave pugmarks overnight.

Two full safari days anchor the itinerary — dawn drives as peafowl call across the valleys and sambar stand sentinel on the ridgelines, and evening sessions when leopards, striped hyenas, and the reserve's celebrated relocated tigers move — framed by arrival and optional departure  drives.

Day 02 Sariska | Morning & Evening Safari

In 2004 Sariska became the first Indian reserve to lose its entire tiger population to poaching — and in 2008, the first in the world to receive relocated wild tigers, airlifted from Ranthambore.
